Making space for creativity in the everyday
A little colour, a little imagination, and plenty of freedom to explore.

Focus on the experience
Creative play does not have to look perfect. Drawing, making shapes, and telling stories give children opportunities to express their ideas in their own way.
Offer safe choices
Choose age-appropriate, washable materials and supervise activities. Let your child choose a colour or decide what to make. Small choices help them feel involved.
Notice the effort
Instead of judging the finished picture, ask your child to tell you about it. Notice what they tried, the colours they chose, and the story behind their creation.
